I am now part of the Subsidiary Diploma for year 2. We already had one lesson on Wednesday, and We learnt how to sight sing and humming octaves of the notes of scales and Philip wrote the notes on the Board in which we had to read and sing which we could. Then we discussed about Pop music. It is from many Genres like Punk, Alternative rock and many other genres of Music.

Now the teacher has told us to t noose a song to sing from any genre and tell something about it. So I chose the Genre of Punk Music and the Song which I will sing is 21 guns by Green day. It was one of the  songs related to punk music from 2015. It was released from their album named 21 century break down. Green day is an American Punk rock band. According to the Youtube's Karoake Version, It was published on 24th of  September 2014. It is one of the best punk musical songs.

Overall music certificate course

This was a very good course for me so far and wish to continue next year which will be good for me. Now I will be joining the next two sessions on 31st May and 14th June. Today,I was called to upload a new video of the Beatles on my Blog which was related to what I spoke about in my presentation, I had a go at it three times and therefore I was able to do it finally and discuss what each band member does. This was about the Beatles.

I got a Merit for my whole course in Music certificate Yr 1.

The assignment which I liked doing the most was the Solo performance because, I selected the songs of my choice to make a 25 minute performance and I could perform well.

I liked doing the Ensembles assignment in the sense that the songs which we needed to perform,we worked together as a group and also the songs which I had never heard and learnt before. This inspired me the most.

Look forward to continuing next year.
